*BRAND IDENTITY*

Diva is a female choir based on Dalmatian klapa, a form of a capella singing practiced by both men and women. They proudly nurish this rich traditional singing and enjoy in rehearsals and in competition events.

Klapa Diva is based in Široki Brijeg, Bosnia and Herzegovina, they are active local and in neighboring countries (Croatia, Monte Negro) that nurture singing in klapa form.

 

Name Diva is chosen from local history of Croatian people in Bosnia and Herzegovina, dated in 17th century. Christian girl called Diva Grabovceva was persecuted to be married by force to an osman ruler beg. Girl Diva refused and escaped but bet found her and killed her.

 

Today Diva Grabovceva the martyr is known for her courage and strong religion, every year in July pilgrims come to her grave and give her respect.

 

The silhouette of a girl Diva is integrated into logo, her proud and brave attitude is visible at first. Also her body position is characteristic to klapa singing, where a group of singers stands in mild arc and sings a capella.
